Our Team

  • Marie Doe, LCSW (she/her)

For over 6 years, I have worked in the mental health field in variety of settings supporting children and families. As a trauma informed, relational, client centered therapist, I believe that everyone has the capacity for healing. Therapy can help provide a safe relationship to facilitate growth and change. I seek to provide a non-judgmental, welcoming space to explore the parts of yourself that might be stuck. I practice from a systems perspective and recognize the impact that oppressive systems have on individuals.

I work with couples, families, and individuals ages 16 and up. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people, although I have a special interest in working with those who have experienced trauma, any part of the adoption triad (adoptee, birth parents and adoptive parents), suicidality, blended  and expansive families, and couples exploring or engaging in non-traditional relationships or lifestyles.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Attachment Based, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and a Somatic Lens when working with clients. I think of therapeutic modalities as tools and utilize a wide variety to meet the needs of the specific person I am working with. I always welcome feedback to tailor sessions to what is needed.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside with my dog, and moving my body in a variety of ways (especially practicing yoga!).

  • Hayley RObinson, edm (she/her)

I have been in the mental health setting for three years, working with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. With my Masters of Education in Counseling and Sports Psychology, I have spent the majority of my counseling experience working with athletes, performers, and college students. I specialize in providing services for their unique needs in a high performance setting. I believe that it is an honor to come alongside an individual’s journey and be let in on their experiences, sit in the pain, celebration and all of the moments in between. I strive to protect that space and create a non judgmental environment in which a client feels empowered to be their authentic selves and meet their goals.

I use a collaborative approach that emphasizes the autonomy of the client. To help achieve this, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as utilizing Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing volleyball and tennis, and trying out new baking recipes.

  • jennifer sanchez SIerra, MS (she/her)

With 8 years of experience working in mental health and a Master’s degree in Counseling, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care. I am fluent in Spanish and specialize in supporting diverse clients by creating a safe, inclusive environment for personal growth and healing. My clients' identities and experiences are not only respected but also celebrated in my practice. Though I work with clients ages 12 and up, I especially enjoy supporting adults working through anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, or ADHD. I also have extensive experience working with folks with ASD.

My therapeutic approach blends Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gestalt therapy. At the core of my therapeutic approach is a firm belief in the transformative power of therapy. Grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration, my approach strongly emphasizes self-awareness, personal responsibility, and exploring the present moment. This focus is designed to facilitate meaningful change and growth in my clients' lives, empowering them to overcome challenges and thrive.

Outside of work, I enjoy nature, Latin dancing, and continuously seeking to learn new things.

  • Holly mccarthy, lcsw (she/her)

I have been in the mental health field for six years, spending the majority of my time working with children and families. I have worked in residential care, outpatient, and community-based settings. My clinical experience has centered around working with children and caregivers who have experienced complex trauma. I love working with children of all ages (toddlers to adolescents) as well as with caregivers navigating the many demands of parenthood. I strive to offer my clients a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where we can continuously learn from one another. I firmly believe that clients are the experts in their own lives and that my role is to offer observations and interventions as the client sees fit.

I use an attachment-based lens while offering narrative and psychodynamic modality approaches. With younger children, I utilize play therapy and interventions from the child-parent psychotherapy model. I most often work with people navigating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and significant life transitions.

Outside of work, I enjoy being with my two dogs, practicing yoga, and reading.

  • sofia lopez, lcsw (she/her)

During my 5 years in the mental health field, I have worked in multiple settings including public schools, therapeutic summer programs, group homes, and community-based services. My specialties include family therapy, gender-affirming care for LGBTQIA+ youth, and working with youth experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment disorders and mood disorders. I enjoy working with children (8 years and older), teens, young adults and families.

In my work I utilize a trauma-informed, collaborative approach to help my clients reach their goals. I am a firm believer that my clients are the experts of their experiences (even the little ones!), and that therapy should be a safe place to explore and process without judgment. My personal style is a mix of evidence-based modalities including narrative therapy, play therapy, solution-focused, motivational interviewing (MI), and CBT. I also believe music and art are great outlets for healing, so I do my best to incorporate expressive activities in the therapy space as I realize traditional, "talk therapy" isn't easy for everyone.

Outside of work, I enjoy discussing my latest book club read, going to boxing class, and playing with my two guinea pigs, Kirby and Yoshi.
